To kick off a new message series, Troy introduces the focus we'll have on our spiritual growth, from the inside out, to become more and more like Jesus in our day-to-day lives.

In this standalone message, Troy acknowledges that we’ve all experienced painful times that cause us to wonder where God is, why He lets certain things happen, and why He doesn’t seem to do anything about it. But he also reminds us that our pain is not wasted and that sooner or later, God brings beauty out of our brokenness.

To conclude our series, All Together Different, Troy discusses the "armor of God" that we find in Ephesians chapter 6. As followers of Jesus, there's a battle we face, where the enemy is Satan and his forces (not other people), and the armor of God is what we need to fight that battle.

In discussing the first 12 verses of Ephesians chapter 3, Troy points out that Paul's emphasis is not that the Gentiles have come over to join the Jews and their Old Testament heritage. If that was the case, they would not need Jesus. Instead, everyone stands on the same ground; Jews and Gentiles alike (all people) must come to God through the gospel.
