In today’s message from the All In series, our Youth Minister Chad challenges us to live every aspect of our lives Soli Deo Gloria — “to the glory of God alone.” No one can glorify God like you or for you. Knowing that, each of us should strive to glorify Him through success or failure, good days or bad days, wealth or poverty, health or sickness.

Based on the story of Noah building the ark, Troy asks the question, “Who Builds a Boat in the Desert?” Noah obeyed God and lived by faith for 120 years, as he continued to build something he might not even need. This is what it means to believe God and His promises. We can learn from Noah that although we often want more revelation before we obey more, God wants more obedience before He reveals more.

For this week’s message from our All In series, Troy shares one of the key points from the book, that there are times in our lives when we need to crash the party, when we need to come clean and unveil the secret shame of our sin, and fall on the grace of God. Sometimes we feel like our sin disqualifies us from the grace of God, but in reality, our sin is the only thing that qualifies us for God’s grace.

Continuing in our All In series, Troy shares how God provides for us, and how He reveals His faithfulness if we will exercise our faith. And as the author of the book points out, God tests us to prove Himself to us, and to give us an opportunity to prove ourselves to Him. In addition, when we endure tests and strive to grow in our faith, we can’t just take a step forward into the future; we also have to eliminate the possibility of moving backward into the past.
